Zylofon Media CEO apologises to Stonebwoy

Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah has rendered an unqualified apology to Stonebwoy over the incident which happened at Champs Bar.

Stonebwoy on Saturday was reported to have been engaged in a scuffle with some officers of his record label, Zylofon Music, who had gone to the premises to take from him, a car purported to have been given to him by the company.

“They hit [my brother] on the lips, they took the car keys from him and they sat in the car…if not for my bodyguard, they would have driven my car away and that would have been something else,” Stonebwoy recounted on Hitz FM while stating that he fired gunshots in self defense.

Many have questioned why officials of Zylofon Media could not handle the issue professionally.

In a tweet early Tuesday morning, however, the owner of Zylofon Media apologised to Stonebwoy for the unfortunate incident.

“I apologize to team @stonebwoyb and all well wishers for the unfortunate ill incident that occurred. The transport manager exercised a discretion characterized by reflex and over exuberance. An act I vehemently condemn and discourage from our society” the tweet read.

Meanwhile reports say the Transport Manager of the firm, Mr Eric Amponsah, has been fired over his involvement in the well-publicized fracas.
