Shatta Wale reacts to claims his ‘Reign’ album is ‘borla’

If you ever said Shatta Wale’s latest album, ‘Reign’ is nothing to write home about, the dancehall artiste has a response for you and it’s certainly the obvious; it is not trash!

Some music enthusiasts including rappers, Kwaw Kese and M3nsa of FOKN Boiz fame, have suggested that the album lacks quality.

However, Shatta Wale in an interview on Hitz FM said promotion of the songs on the Reign album is yet to start. According to him, the album is top-notch, adding that when his team bounces back, critics would feel the impact.

‘’I know my album is not ‘borla’. It is on record now that on the iTunes chart- world album, it went to number one,” he noted.

‘’It was just three days ago we finished with this launch. You know man is tired. I don’t know how they want me to work. When haters talk, you just watch them and say wow, you people are really pushing hard,” added.

Shatta launched his first album under Zylofon Music on October 13, 2018, at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair Center, Accra with the first copy auctioned for ₵150,000.
