Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has disclosed he attended colleague, Shatta Wale’s Reign Concert and opted to perform following an advice given him by Rev. Eastwood Anaba, founder of Eastwood Anaba Ministries (EAM).

Stonebwoy received commendation from the revered man of God during one of his sermons. He told his congregation that he listens to Stonebwoy, adding that the artiste sounds like a professor.

“I listen to Stonebwoy… I called my daughter… I said ‘get me the number of that boy, I want to call him’. ‘I want to call him and tell him he is a very intelligent man’. I listen to the man and it was almost as if I was listening to a professor from a university at that young age. So I told my son there are intelligent people like this in Ghana, blessed people like this in Ghana…” he said.

Asked on Hitz FM how he felt after receiving a thumb of approval from Eastwood Anaba, Stonebwoy said he was overwhelmed. He revealed that he encountered Rev. Anaba who spoke to him on a number of things, including the reason for a united front in the music industry.

“I met him; the advice was so amazing. He is the reason I took that action over the weekend. He sounded it again,” Stonebwoy said.

“Music is bigger than all of us, we will die and leave music” he added.

Stonebwoy and Samini were at the Fantasy Dome, Saturday, to support Shatta Wale, but were denied the opportunity to perform.

According to Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson (Bulldog), Head of Artists and Repertoire (A&R) at Zylofon Music, he refused to allow Samini and Stonebwoy to perform at the concert for security reasons.

“The fan base is different from the artiste. If we had allowed them, this morning the story would have been something,” he said.
